The Crossmen

San Antonio, Texas

Formed as a result of the merger in 1975 between to smaller corps in the outskirts of Philadelphia, the 507 Hornets and Keystone Regiment, the Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps have grown to become a perennial DCI World Champion Finalist, placing in the World Championship Finals 22 times in the corps history.

From their humble beginnings in West Chester, PA, the Crossmen have served thousands of students throughout their 30 year history, providing not only music education, but also life lessons for their alumni to carry with them as they head out into the post-drum corps participation world of music performance, music education, or whichever career path they choose.

Stylistically, the Crossmen bring a contemporary jazz approach to the drum corps activity, creating a name for the organization through their aggressive approach to both music and movement. Crossmen productions are based on contemporary and classic jazz compositions by well known jazz musicians such as Pat Metheny, Manhattan Transfer and Wynton Marsalis.

The Crossmen Drum & Bugle Corps are a program offering of Youth Education in the Arts, a non-profit musical youth organization assisting young people in their development to become magnificent human beings through their participation in the arts.

The corps will travel over 15,000 miles this summer entertaining hundreds of thousands of fans throughout the nation.
