Up-Front Footwear Marches to a New Home

MOUNT JOY, PA – After 24 years of their headquarters being located in Lebanon, Pa., Up-Front Footwear, makers of the DINKLES, World’s Greatest Marching Shoes, will be moving to a new home in Mount Joy, Pa. as of January 18, 2010.

Jeff Savoca, President of Up-Front Footwear said in announcing their relocation to another city in the Central Pennsylvania region, "My father Jerry Savoca founded Up-Front Footwear in 1986 and we’ve had a great home in Lebanon ever since. However due to issues with the railroad company which operates tracks literally a few feet from our front door, when we were presented with the opportunity to move to a great new location in Mount Joy, we jumped at the chance to relocate our operations."

Savoca continued, "Our new facility will be larger and will allow us to expand our product line, we are also proud to being keeping the same employees with us during the transition. We are even prouder that we will continue to the tradition of DINKLES quality, comfort and safety in each pair of our marching shoes without missing a beat." Savoca concluded, "In the tough economic times that face all of us, we are looking at the opportunity to improve our efficiency through this move and keep our product affordable and quality high for the thousands of marchers out there."
